The inauguration of the program will be held at 11.00 am in the premises of the Society. The Mathematical Ability Test for class IX and X will be a part of the program. One Day National Seminar on Mathematical Physics (NSMP2016) to commemorate 123rd birthday of Prof. S.N. Bose One day National Seminar on Mathematical Physics (NSMP2016) will be held on 30th January, 2016 at the premises of Calcutta Mathematical Society to commemorate 123rd birthday of Professor Satyendra Nath Bose, which falls on 1st January, 2016. Prof. Sibaji Raha and Prof. Atri Mukhopadhyaya are the expected plenary speakers. The programme will start tentatively at 11 am. Some contributed papers will be presented by young researchers in Mathematical Physics. Researchers interested in presenting papers are requested to send the extended abstracts within 500 words of their papers by 16th January, 2016 at the email address cmsconf@gmail.com. Contact person: Dr. Koushik Ghosh (Convener). The registration fee is Rs 300/ which will be collected on spot. Participation/Presentation Certificates will be issued to legitimate participants/presenters.

Results of Advanced Mathematical Ability Test On 6 September 2015, the Society conducted an Advanced Mathematical Ability Test for class XI and XII students. The results are as follows. The top 10 candidates are requested to attend the Felicitation Ceremony to be held on 19 September 2015, at 6.00 p.m., in the CMS building at AE  374, Salt Lake (Sector  I), Kolkata  700 064.

Advanced Mathematical Ability Test for Class XI and XII Students Calcutta Mathematical Society will conduct an Advanced Mathematical Ability Test for class XI and XII students. The test will be held at the premises of Calcutta Mathematical Society (AE374, Sector I, Salt Lake City, Kolkata  700064, West Bengal, India; Phone Number: +91 33 2337 8882) on 6th September, 2015 between 2:004:30 pm.
The application fee for the test is Rs 250/ per candidate. The fee can be paid by cash or Demand draft drawn in favour of "Calcutta Mathematical Society" payable at Kolkata. Application Form, duly filled up and signed, along with the application fee and one copy of the Identity Card of the candidate issued by the corresponding School Authority must reach the office of the Society latest by 29th August, 2015. Total number of seats for this test is limited to 100. Seats will be booked on first come first serve basis.
The final result will be displayed in the CMS website on 16.09.2015
